The Midnight Mission Grand Opening!!

Today, I attended the Masonic Service Bureau breakfast at the Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. At 2pm we were shuttled to the freemasonic cornerstone laying ceremony at the Midnight Mission, in also in downtown near skid row. The Mayor James Hahn was there along with, other City Leaders, Police Officials, Antonio Villaraigosa, other council members. This is a new facility that helps to rehabilitate men on drugs. They feed the community on a daily basis and at night they have project safe sleep where they open up their cafeteria, courtyards and parking lots so that people can have a safe place to sleep. They also help families and they are really great people. I know some board members and this is one of the organizations that we donate to. Check them out: http://www.midnightmission.org/ It is not a freemasonic place but some of the board of directors are high ranking masons so in the tradition they laid the chief cornerstone and celebrated the grand opening. www.freemason.org Jorge Bueno
